Supriya Kumar is a healthcare data and analytics expert, leading AI strategy and solution development at ATI. Kumar brings 15 years of experience across life sciences, consulting, and technology. In her role at ATI, she oversees the development of advanced data-driven solutions that help clients translate complex healthcare data into actionable insight.
Most recently, Kumar served as Senior Director of the Real-World Data Office at AstraZeneca, where she built and operationalized a data office overseeing real-world data acquisition, governance, and innovation in AI and technology platforms for AstraZeneca’s biopharma medical affairs function. She previously managed teams of data scientists and statistical programmers delivering real-world evidence studies and analytics across multiple therapeutic areas.
Prior to AstraZeneca, Kumar was a consultant in IBM’s Watson Health Consulting Services division, leading advanced analytics teams for life sciences and healthcare organizations. Her work leveraged electronic medical records, insurance claims, sales, and other non-traditional data sources to inform treatment patterns, patient journeys, and commercial strategy. She began her career in product management and financial services, managing reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
Kumar holds a Master of Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.
