Emily Zhu conducts qualitative and quantitative research analyses to support ATI’s clients.

Prior to ATI, Zhu was a Research Assistant at L&M Policy Research. In this role, she assisted with consumer testing to inform web tools for the federally facilitated health insurance exchanges mandated by the Affordable Care Act and conducted qualitative research to support the development of Medicare decision-support tools. She also supported a project assisting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with monitoring and evaluation of active Medicaid Section 1115 demonstrations.

More recently, she was a Summer Fellow at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission, supporting an investment program coordinating care for substance-exposed caregivers and newborns. Zhu received her Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Bachelor’s degree from Brown University where she studied Public Health and Public Policy.
